About

Storyline’s founder, Kristine Thompson, began her career more than 20 years ago.  After graduating from Nazareth College, she worked at the International Museum of Photography at George Eastman House in Rochester, N.Y.  Following that experience, she then went to Japan to fulfill a dream of living and working in that culture.

When she returned, she took a job at Kodak which led to nearly 15 years  in a variety of communications positions, including international corporate communications, national advertising, employee communications, Web PR and consumer-oriented PR.  Kristine was responsible for multi-million dollar budgets and worked with the country’s finest and largest PR and advertising firms along the way.

From there, Kristine embarked on an agency path at a local advertising and public relations firm.  For five years, she worked with clients that ran the gamut – venture capitalists looking to build the community, educational institutions committed to developing our area’s young people, dance icons like Garth Fagan enlivening our collective spirit and many others, including those from the following industries:  telecom, wine, economic development, health care, human resource/leadership development and much more.

Storyline has been around now for almost five years.  Regardless of whether they are for-profit or not, Storyline’s clients are linked by the common goal of trying to make a difference in the lives of others.

When Kristine’s not publicizing the great work of her clients, she can usually be found somewhere in the woods…snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hiking or canoeing.
