Mann’s Jewelers recently announced that CJ Denk and Megan Smith of Irondequoit, N.Y. are the grand prize winners of its first-ever Platinum Proposal online voting contest, featuring a $10,000 platinum engagement ring adorned with 1.5 carats of diamonds. The presentation will take place in front of their friends and family at the Wednesday, Aug. 24th Kenney Chesney concert at the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC).
The lucky couple also wins two VIP platinum box seats to the concert along with 24 lawn seats and a private party for up to 24 of their friends and family at CMAC before the concert. Entercom’s WBEE 92.5 will broadcast the presentation live.
Mann’s Jewelers is partnering with Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC) and Entercom’s WBEE 92.5 FM to launch its first ever “Platinum Proposal.” Couples planning to get engaged can submit their love stories for others to vote on for a chance to win a $10,000 platinum engagement ring (with 1.5 carats of diamonds) and an opportunity to propose in front of up to 24 friends and family before the Wednesday, Aug. 24 Kenny Chesney concert at CMAC. WBEE 92.5 FM will broadcast the proposal live on its station.
In addition, the lucky couple will win two VIP platinum box seats to the concert along with 24 lawn seats and a private party for up to 24 of their friends and family at CMAC before the concert, complete with a BBQ dinner and drinks.
To be eligible, couples must submit their story of no more than 350 words along with a photo of themselves on Mann’s new micro Web site, www.platinumproposal.com between now and midnight, Friday, Aug. 19. The winner will be contacted on Sunday, Aug. 21. Entrants are encouraged to rally their friends and family to vote for them (only one vote per story, per person) to increase their likelihood of winning. All the rules are available on the Web site.
